Launch trailer shines light on the dark life of Max Payne

Max Payne 3, Rockstar’s long-awaited gritty cop-action follow-up, hits store shelves next week. The long line of pre-release videos concludes with this official launch trailer. Per Max, “There are only two types of people. Those who spend their lives trying to build a future, and those who spend their lives trying to rebuild the past.” Max says he’s been stuck in between. The result is a pretty bad-ass looking game. Check it out:

Max Payne 3 launches on PS3 and Xbox 360 on May 15, and for PC later this month.
