Starting with a chilling debut during E3 2011, Ubisoft’s Far Cry 3 has continued to show its depth and intelligence among the crowded first-person-shooter genre. Featuring a dark and mature single player campaign and a more traditional competitive multiplayer offering that pushes the need for teamwork, Far Cry 3 looks to be a solid shooter.
For the first time in the series, Far Cry 3 will also feature a cooperative campaign featuring its own unique set of missions and characters, as well as its own story that takes place six months prior to the events of the single-player campaign. Today, Ubsisoft released footage originally shown at E3 that showcases the co-op mode. Check it out below:
Far Cry 3 is currently scheduled for release on December 4, 2012 for Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
