From dense woodland environments to crowded battlegrounds of up to two thousand soldiers, Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed 3 brings the American Revolution to life. Driving this new environment is the impressive AnvilNext engine, a piece of software which began development before the previous Assassin’s Creed installment hit shelves last year.

When the game was first announced, it was difficult to imagine how Ubisoft would capture the Assassin’s Creed magic in such a wildly different environment. As the game’s launch nears, it’s becoming increasingly clear that the title offers a lot to be excited about.
The game is set to launch on October 30, 2012 for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.
